Two More Blogs and a Directory Update

Two new mapping-related blogs, both kind of technical:

  • Spatial Ed by Ed Katibah, the spatial project manager for Microsoft’s SQL Server (via James).
  • The Thematic Mapping Blog, the stated purpose of which is “to elaborate ideas of how geobrowsers and open source tools can be used for thematic mapping” (via La Cartoteca).

Meanwhile, I’ve updated the blog listing in the directory: any blog that has gone offline, or has not had a new post in the past six months, has been removed. (Most have just faded away, rather than closing outright as Google Karten has just done.)
